2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid

2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid Overview

The 2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid delivers a powerful combination of electric efficiency and SUV versatility, making it one of the most compelling plug-in hybrid options available to North Hollywood drivers. Built on Toyota's all-new sixth-generation plug-in hybrid platform, this model brings more power, longer electric range, and a lower starting price than its predecessor — all with standard all-wheel drive across every trim.

Performance and Electric Range

324 horsepower and up to 52 miles of all-electric driving

Under the hood, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine pairs with dual electric motors to produce 324 net combined horsepower — a 22-hp increase over the previous generation. That output translates to a 0-60 mph time of approximately 5.6 seconds, placing the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid among the quickest compact SUVs in its class.

The manufacturer-estimated all-electric range reaches up to 52 miles on SE and XSE trims, a significant jump from the prior model's 42-mile range. For many drivers in North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, and Burbank, that electric range covers the daily commute without engaging the gasoline engine.

Trim Electric Range
SE Up to 52 miles
XSE Up to 52 miles
Woodland Up to 49 miles
GR Sport Up to 48 miles

Flexible charging at home or on the road

Home charging via a Level 2 (240-volt) charger brings the battery to full in approximately 3 to 4 hours. The Woodland and XSE trims add DC fast-charging capability through a CCS connector, charging from 10% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes at a compatible public station. The SE and GR Sport trims use a standard onboard charger without DC fast-charge capability.

⚡ DC Fast Charging Availability

DC fast charging (CCS connector, 10–80% in ~30 min) is standard on the Woodland and XSE trims only. The SE and GR Sport charge via Level 1 or Level 2.
