2015 Sienna Wins Another Award among Families

Everyone knows that the harshest critics of vehicles are not manufacturers, test panels, or even reviewers. The ones that have to be won over are the people who drive the vehicles. Consider that you have a friend who purchased a new car from a Los Angeles car dealer. This friend loves the space in her family-sized vehicle and the way it drives, but complains about the way the dash is set up, making it hard for her to drive while controlling the stereo or the GPS. These little details are what counts. No matter how nice a vehicle may look or what amazing technology it has, it comes down to how it feels to drive it and what annoys you about the vehicle. Most reviews don’t get down to the nitty-gritty details, so it is important to test drive a vehicle with the whole family along for the ride to find out if there are things you don’t like.

Journalists Are Hard to Please

The Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA) has recently declared the 2015 Sienna the Best 3-Row Family Vehicle. It has become common knowledge that parents love the upscale style and features, as well as comfort and safety. Kids, of course, enjoy the entertainment center featuring a 16.4 inch widescreen. But how does it drive? Does it feel good? Is it driver centric?

The GAAMA team, made up of journalists from across the southeast, spent two days at Lake Lanier Islands in Georgia putting a total of seven vehicles through all sorts of tests. When all was said and done, the Sienna was chosen for the award, due to its aggressive styling, upscale interior, new features, enhanced driving dynamics, and abundant space. No-one had any complaints about how the panels were laid out, and all had great things to say about the comfort and efficiency of the vehicle. Toyota vehicles are known for their commitment to safety and, in more recent years, the integration of technology has been used to make every vehicle driver-centric and safe for drivers and their passengers. Because each journalist/tester has their own families, and requirements and preferences for vehicles, the Sienna must be exceptionally great, to have them all voting it the best.

What Makes the 2015 Sienna Different?

If you are in the market for a new family vehicle, head to your Los Angeles car dealer and ask to test drive a Sienna. Even if you think you know Toyota’s Sienna, you haven’t met the 2015 model. This vehicle has been refreshed for this model year with a great expressive exterior, upgraded interior, and many styling details that make all the difference. The entertainment center is a crowd pleaser, while Toyota’s Driver Easy Speak system, which allows the driver to talk to those in the back without yelling or dangerously turning around is great for both safety and a pleasant drive. The Sienna is the only van in its segment that has all-wheel drive, and it was named a 2015 IIHS Top Safety Pick.

Only you can decide what vehicle is right for your family, but, once you drive the 2015 Sienna, you may have a hard time wanting to try another van.
