In 2013 Toyota introduced a redesigned RAV4 Compact SUV. Now, as car makers are working hard on their 2016 models, Toyota has announced and unveiled a revised design and a new model—the RAV4 Hybrid. Essentially, there will be a whole new RAV4 lineup coming from Toyota in 2016. The RAV4 has been a big seller for Toyota, offering the space and cargo area of a full-sized SUV, with the family-friendliness of a minivan, in a sleek and sporty vehicle that is economical and safe. Toyota’s dedication to saving the planet, making safer vehicles, and keeping up with technology makes driving any Toyota vehicle a pleasure.

What’s New?

What can consumers expect from the revised RAV4? First and foremost, of course, is the RAV4 Hybrid, which will be available only in XLE and Limited. This popular SUV will be available in six colors: Super White, Blizzard Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic, Black Sand Pearl, and a beautiful new blue color. Each hybrid RAV4 will come standard with on-demand electronic all-wheel-drive.

RAV4 SE also to See an Update

The sporty RAV4 SE model will be redesigned for 2016 as well. It will include sport tuned suspension, 18-inch allow wheels, SofTex seats, LED headlights and taillights, and a brand new bumper and grille design. With red illuminated instruments, a 4.2 inch touch screen, a black headliner, and paddle shifters, the SE is the definition of modern and sporty. You’ve never seen a RAV4 look so tough! While these are considered to be crossover vehicles, the SE RAV4 will leave you with no doubt that it is ready to play. It’s more than a car, more than a minivan, and better on gas than a typical SUV.

Every 2016 RAV4 model has a new front fascia with a thinner grille, redesigned headlights, and a sporty lower bumper. There’s also a silver inset into the rear bumper and redesigned rocker panels. There are 3 new colors available for the 2016 RAV4 lineup: Silver Sky Metallic, Black Currant Metallic and Electric Storm Blue.

Interior Changes

While the interior of the 2016 RAV4 is reported to be getting some updates, those are mostly optional choices in equipment. If consumers want a leather-wrapped steering wheel or a 7-inch touch screen audio system, this is now available. The standard interior changes include soft-touch door panels and lower dash, an updated cup holder, and new bezels for shifter and window switches. Power windows, doors locks, and other features are unchanged, and just as convenient and easy to use as ever.

Whether you need to haul half the soccer team to the game, or want to get out of the city for a weekend camping trip, the RAV4 gives you all the space, comfort, and features you need to enjoy the trip.

The Toyota RAV4 is ideal for cruising up the coast, and even makes getting stuck in traffic not so bad. Toyota hasn’t given a release date, but has assured consumers that their 2016 lineup is worth waiting for.
